Switchboards of inner substation and external lighting (SL-48, SEL)

Purpose and brief technical description
Switchboards SL-48 are designed for receiving and distributing of electric power voltage 380/220V three-phase AC, 50 Hz, as well as for occasional (not more than six times per hour) of switching and protection of single-phase off-line from overload and short circuit currents. Installed inside the switchboard room and differ from the external lighting switchboards SEL so that the apparatus is used as an introductory changeover switch to enable the work of the switchboard from two inlets. They are mounted on a vertical surface. Nominal mode is long.

Switchboards for exterior lighting (SEL) are designed for automatic, manual and remote control of lighting installations of industrial buildings, areas or any objects with any light sources (incandescent, fluorescent bulbs, DRL, etc.)

 SEL switchboards provide:

    • Management of the lighting system via a signal from photocell depending on the level of illumination and fixed threshold (optional in lieu of or in addition to the photo relay you can use daily time switch to turn the lighting system at specified intervals);
    • Manual activation and deactivation of the lighting installation by using the buttons on the door panel;
    • Remote activation and deactivation of the lighting installation

Technical characteristics
    • Nominal AC voltage is 380/220 V;
    • Frequency - 50 Hz;
    • Nominal current - up to 160 A;
    • Degree of protection according to GOST 14254-96 - IP30, IP65, IP66;
    • Climatic and category placement by GOST 15150 - V3

Design
SEL switchboard consists of two parts: a shell of sheet steel of hinged design with front door and remote photocell. Box and a photocell are connected by 2-core unscreened control cable (not supplied).
Input of wires and cables is performed through glands mounted above and / or bottom of the box.

Inside the box on the panel there are:
    • Power part - the circuit breaker and contactor;
    • Control equipment - depending on the type of switchboard the equipment may be different.
