Assignment and range of use
Control switchboards of motor with frequency converters (SFC) are low-voltage complete devices designed to control the speed of three-phase asynchronous motors with power from 0,18 to 630kWt by changing the frequency and amplitude of voltage.
   
Control switchboards of motor with frequency converters (SFC) are completed with converters of  frequency (FC) of Altivar brand ("Schneider Electric"). These converters embody the latest technology and meet the strictest requirements of applications in industrial and commercial sectors through the use of various motor control laws and numerous functional possibilities. Frequency converters of Altivar series correspond to the norms and standards of UL, CSA, DNV, C-Tick, NOM 117, GOST, and have the CE mark conformity with the European Low Voltage Directive (73/23/EEC) and EMC standards (89/336/EEC ).
   
Switchboards are completed in accordance with the wishes of the customer specified in the questionnaire.
   
Switchboards SFC are applied in various utilities, water supply systems and heating of residential, commercial and industrial buildings, in fire-extinguishing systems, in the systems of production and technological processes, in chemical and petroleum industries, in heating systems with steam boilers, in transportation equipment, packing and packaging machines, handling equipment, special mechanisms, pumps, fans, compressors, etc., in order to automate, improve efficiency, extend the life of mechanical and electrical parts of equipment, reduce accidents.
 
Functions and features:
The main functions and features of these switchboards are:
• start / stop and shaft speed control of the motor by frequency transformer;
• direct start / stop the motor from the mains (option);
• indication of the operation and accident and the engine and frequency transformer on the front of the cabinet;
• push-button switches to start / stop the motor and the frequency controller on the front of the cabinet (option);
• protection of motor and frequency transformer from short circuit currents and prolonged overloads;
• energy efficiency, the square law by 2 or 5 points;
• the sequence of inhibition;
• speed control with feedback according to tacho-generator or pulse sensor;
• work in the "fast-slow" regime;
• linear, S-and U-shaped curves of acceleration and braking;

Switchboards are supplied fully assembled, pre-configured and tested by the manufacturer. Switchboards are manufactured in accordance with GOST 22789-94.  

Operating conditions:
Switchboards are designed to work under the following conditions:
• height above sea level up to 1000m;
• environment is non-explosive containing no conductive dust, corrosive gases and vapors in concentrations that deplete metal and insulation;
• the operating position of the switchboard is vertical;
• degree of protection of switchboards is in accordance with GOST 14254-96 (IEC 529-89) IP30, IP54 with closed doors;
• nominal operation mode - long;
• ambient temperature of 0 to +40 ° C (-10 to +60 ° C as option);
• relative humidity from 5 to 95% without condensation or dripping water, in accordance with IEC60068-2-3;
• extended deviation of network voltage from -15 to +10%.

Assignment and usage sphere
SSS devices represent low-voltage complete equipment, designed to ensure a smooth start and stop of the three-phase asynchronous motors of 380V with squirrel-cage rotor, capacity from 4,0 to 630kVt. The soft starters of Schneider Electric production series Altistart 48 are used in the switchboards. The series of Altistart 48 includes two product ranges for the three-phase mains with voltage: 230-415V, 50/60Hz and 208-690V, 50/60Hz. Both scales are divided into sizes, depending on the mode of operation - normal or difficult. Complete panels made in accordance with the requirements of the customer specified in the questionnaire. Switchboards have metal corps with protection up to IP54 (IP30).

Control switchboards are used in systems with pumps, fans, compressors, transporters, conveyors, centrifuges, mixers, crushers, belt and disc saws, heavy loaded and inertial mechanisms, grinding, metal-and woodworking machines, machines and mechanisms with a belt, chain and other types of transmissions, gearboxes and other devices.

Functions and features
The main functions and features of the control switchboards with SS device are:
• soft start and stop of the motor at the required rate until steady speed;
• protecting the motor from extended overloads;
• protection of SS and the motor from short circuit currents through the circuit breaker;
• limiting the starting current of the motor at a prescribed level;
• reverse the direction of rotation of the motor shaft;
• maintaining the moment reached by the motor during acceleration and deceleration;
• status indication on the front of the cabinet;
• display of electrical parameters, loading condition and working time;
• the possibility of shunting of devices with the bypass contactor after starting with the maintenance of electronic security functions ("bypass")
